Bert Daniel

Elder / Lead Pastor

Bert has served as Berea's pastor since 2002. He and his wife Nikki have two sons (Noah and Isaiah) and one daughter (Tatom). Bert has a bachelor’s degree from Columbia International University and a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, working out, and watching Georgia Tech football.


John Ross

Elder / Assistant Pastor

John and his wife Brooke, both native Kentuckians, joined Berea in 2011. They have three daughters: Eva, Zoe, and Scarlet. John has a BA from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He loves spending time with his family, reading, playing & listening to music, and geeking out about coffee.


Don Pezzatta

Elder

Don and his wife Vannessa joined Berea in 2011. They have two children, Sam and Victoria (Tori). Upon retiring from the Army in 2014 after 21 years of service, their family decided to put down roots in Augusta. Don enjoys reading, studying, pizza night with the family, and rumor has it he throws down a mean Texas style brisket BBQ!


Chad Trollinger

Elder

Chad and his wife, Amanda, joined Berea in 2006. They have two children, Aubrey and Brooks. In addition to spending time with his family, Chad enjoys reading theology, likes to participate in just about any sport (even skydiving), and he loves his wife's cooking.


Gary Atwell

Deacon

Gary and his wife, Rachel, became members at Berea in January 2014. Both are originally from Georgia and were married in July 2013. Gary has a BA in History from Valdosta State University and is pursuing a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Gary currently works as a production supervisor at local medical supply company and enjoys spending time with family, reading, outdoor activities, sports, and watching movies.


Shawn Bohanan

Deacon

Shawn and his wife Jaclyn became members at Berea in March 2013. They have two boys, Charlie and Crosby, and are expecting their third child in 2015. Shawn is originally from North Augusta, South Carolina and is a graduate from Augusta Christian Schools. Shawn has a Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Auburn University and now owns a local behavioral consultation practice and working primarily with children with Autism. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, boating at Clark’s Hill, playing disc golf, home improvement projects, and hosting home groups.


Bobby Brown

Deacon

Bobby and his wife, Julia, joined Berea in 2009. They have a son, Justin, and a daughter, McKenzie. Bobby has been employed at Savannah River Site since 1989. He enjoys golfing and working out at the Y. He is also an avid Bulldog and Braves fan.


Ron Cox

Deacon

Ron and his wife, Judy joined Berea in September 2011. He has three grown children, and seven grandchildren. Ron grew up in Colorado and throughout their marriage they've lived in California, Colorado, Iowa, Florida before making Evans, Georgia home. Although he's been away from Colorado for a while, you'll still find him cheering on the CU Buffs and Denver Broncos.


Robbie Lester

Deacon

Robbie and his wife Ashlyn joined Berea in May 2014. They have two daughters, Abby and Carly. Robbie has both a Bachelor and Master degrees in Business Administration from Augusta State University in Business Administration. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, playing sports, & watching sports. His favorite pastime is watching the UGA Bulldogs routinely destroy the GA Tech Yellow Jackets.
